Pelosi Plans ‘Monthly Abortion Premium’

U.S. House Minority Leader Rep. John Boehner, R-Ohio, is warning voters across America that the “government takeover of health care” pushed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., contains a “monthly abortion premium” for participants of a proposed government insurance company.

“Health care reform should not be used as an opportunity to use federal funds to pay for elective abortions,” Boehner wrote. “Health reform should be an opportunity to protect human life — not end it.”

But, he said, line 17 of page 110 of Pelosi’s 2,032-page plan specifically states, “Abortions for which Public Funding is Allowed.”

There, Boehner explained, the Health and Human Services Secretary “is given the authority to determine when abortion is allowed under the government-run plan.”

“What is even more alarming is that a monthly abortion premium will be charged of all enrollees in the government-run plan,” Boehner continued. “It’s right there on line 16, page 96, section 213, under ‘Insurance Rating Rules.’ The premium will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account — and these federal funds will be used to pay for the abortion services.”

The House Passed the Bill.

The Senate will pass a similar Bill.

The Bills will be reconciled, and the President will sign the final product.

The result will be that Americans will finally have what the citizens of every other advanced nation already enjoy--the assurance that they won't be left to suffer and die if they they can't afford health insurance, or have been purged from the health insurance rolls for being "too risky" to insure.

Don't like health insurance? Move to Russia, or the Congo.

Suck it up, Republican Health Insurance Lobby.

Oh! I thought I WAS in Russia ...

Nice to have a confused and angry little commie in the comments section once in a while.

I'm in a good mood. I'll leave your comment up. You're cute.

I thought I made it clear that I was HAPPY, not angry!
Beside myself with delight, in fact.

Health Care makes somebody a communist? You've got to be kidding me! That's like saying wanting a strong military--which I do--makes somebody a Nazi.

Anyway glad you're in a good mood, too. Thanks for not punishing my thought crime.

Anon, I'm really sorry for you that you "have been purged from the health insurance rolls for being "too risky" to insure".

Everything will become much more bearable for you with FREE medication, a strong army and a communist government.

It'll be paradise on earth!

Just like the USSR, China, Cambodia, etc.
